Foodshelf Impact Report:

WHO WE SERVE: Community members from all surrounding towns, with the majority coming from Putney, Dummerston, Westminster, and Brattleboro.

  • Upwards of 185 households shop during Open Hours each week.

  • 9,000 visits to the Foodshelf in 2025. That’s a 300% increase over the past five years — service has quadrupled.

  • Over 240,000 pounds of food were distributed in 2025, which is about two tons of food each week.

  • ​The Food4Kids program at Putney Central School serves around 165 students & staff weekly. Uniquely designed to reduce stigma to food access, everyone is encouraged to take part.
