This past year at the Foodshelf (2024):
During Open Hours, over 232,000 pounds of food were distributed. That’s about two tons of food each week.
There were 8,235 visits to the Foodshelf. That’s 250% growth since the start of the pandemic in 2020.
The Food4Kids program at Putney Central School has been going strong, serving around 170 students and staff each week. Uniquely designed to reduce stigma to food access, everyone is encouraged to take part.
